The 18th Cholistan Jeep Rally is being held from February 15 to February 19, 2023 in the vast Cholistan desert of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan districts, which has undoubtedly become a huge motor sports event in Pakistan, especially South Punjab. The rally is a challenge for motorsports enthusiasts and professionals as well as a festival for locals.

The Punjab government has organized an annual jeep rally competition in the desert of Cholistan Punjab, Pakistan. The event was attended by a large number of people and audience. As of 100, Jeep racers participated in the Cholistan Jeep Rally Pakistan covering an area of 500 km.
During the rally, the culture, civilization, lifestyle, food of Cholistan are of special interest to the foreign tourists. The Cholistan Jeep Rally was started in 2005 in which famous local and foreign male drivers as well as female drivers participate. This three-to-four-day event not only provides entertainment but also highlights the rich cultural heritage of Bahawalpur, the erstwhile richest state of the subcontinent.
Bahawalpur is located in the south of Punjab. The Abbasid dynasty ruled the state for 200 years (1748 to 1954). Saraiki is the local language but Urdu, Punjabi and English are also spoken and understood. Bahawalpur is surrounded by 300 miles of river. It is situated on the banks of Sutlej and Indus rivers.

Cholistan Jeep Rally was conducted over four days from 11th to 14th February 2023. This is the 16th edition of the rally in Cholistan. This rally was held for the first time in 2005. This Jeep Rally is organized by TDCP and Pakistan Tourism Department. The Jeep Rally was flagged off by the Tourism Department and TDCP Authority.
