PWWF Scholarships 2022-23 Apply Online
Punjab Workers Welfare Fund (PWWF) has announced the scholarship for the session 2023-24 and students can apply online for the scholarship at www.pwwf.punjab.gov.pk.
Eligibility criteria for workers and miners
The Worker/Mine Worker should be covered under the definition of “Worker” prescribed in the Punjab Industrial Relations Act (IRA), 2010 and should be registered with EOBI or Social Security and have at least 3 years of accumulated service. should be However, in case of education upto Intermediate level, no service limit is required.
The worker/mine worker should be registered with Employee Old Age Benefit Institution (EOBI) or Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI). However, in case of an unregistered worker, an affidavit certified by the Notary Public and the Focal Person of the concerned Director/Deputy Director/Assistant Director Labor Welfare/Assistant Mines Labor Welfare Commissioner must be submitted by the worker specifically Petition for validity given, with two guarantors, namely the employer and the President/General Secretary of the CBA.
Workers/mine workers who are employed in an industrial/mine/establishment must be registered under the Factories Act, 1934 or the Punjab Mining Concession Rules, 2002 or organizations contributing 2% to the Workers’ Welfare Fund or the Company’s Profit. I am paying the remaining portion of 5% under (Participation of Workers) Act, 1968.
Children of Workers Welfare Fund deceased workers/mine workers are eligible for scholarship facility if their widows/legal heirs have already received death grant from Punjab Workers Welfare Fund.
Workers/mine workers who become disabled during service can get scholarship for their children, provided the disability is proved by a statutory medical board constituted for the purpose.
