Punjab Workers Welfare Board requires application for allotment of flats and quarters for Labor Colony Defense Road Lahore and Labor Colony Multan. The first phase of the project includes 1,008 flats and 500 houses. Altis includes poor labourers, widows of labourers, and special persons.

More than 1000 flats and 500 houses have been constructed under Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme, workers are being provided with their own roof on the basis of first mortgage, ownership of flats and houses has been given to those earning less than Rs 10 lakh. Due to lack of interest on the part of the government in the past, the project was delayed. The contractor abandoned the project due to non-disbursement of funds from the Workers’ Welfare Fund.

a Who has been paying PSI contribution for the last three years?
b Who has been contributing to education cess for the last three years.
c which has been functioning without interruption for a period of three years.
d which is located in the same district where the labor colony is located.
He or any member of his family is not a tenant or owner in any housing colony of the Board. No criminal proceedings are pending against him either in this establishment or in any other forum. He has three years of service to his credit. which meets the definition of workman given in IRO 2002. Registered with EOBI/Social Security.

The Punjab Workers Welfare Board is a body corporate established by a notification of the Government of Punjab under the Workers Welfare Fund Ordinance 1971. It is led by a board of directors consisting of representatives of the government, workers and employers. The Board provides a comprehensive package of services to the industrial workers including provision of marriage grants, death grants and talent scholarships, establishment and maintenance of labor colonies and establishment and operation of workers welfare schools in various districts of Punjab.
