Prime Minister Youth Programme There is a revolutionary program for socio-economic development of the youth to tackle the growing unemployment in the country. It has a broad canvas of schemes aimed at enabling the youth and poor sections of the population to have: good employment, opportunities, secure economic empowerment, acquisition of skills required for gainful employment, higher education and IT tools. access to, on-the- access to. Job training/internships for young graduates to improve their chances of getting a productive job.
Under this scheme, on-the-job training/internship in private and public sector offices will be provided to youth with 16 years of education from recognized institutions.
Eligibility Criteria:
Graduates from HEC approved educational institutions with minimum 16 years of education and not more than 25 years of age.

Training program
Focal points in each private and public office will be responsible for ensuring effective utilization of interns’ services.
Fields of training
Internship services will be offered to all leading private sector firms/bodies and development sector organizations, federal, provincial and local government offices including educational institutions.
Distribution of interns
Basically, allotment of interns will be done as per NFC award and FPSC provincial/territorial quota for recruitment criteria for all three years. Interns will be selected according to their domicile but may be placed outside their domicile region based on demand profile and matching of applicant profile.
