Pakistan Cadet College Murree Admission 2023
Admission to 6th, 7th, 8th and 1st year (F.Sc Pre-Medical and Pre-Engineering, ICS) classes in Pakistan Cadet School and College, Murree. Admission is through test and interview and is open to candidates from all parts of Pakistan and abroad. Admission is usually done at the beginning of the academic year. The number of cadets to be admitted depends entirely on the number of vacancies available.
Pakistan Cadet School and College Murree envisages providing quality education to its cadets on modern and scientific lines. Our mission is to be a consensus strong and confident enough to take on future leadership responsibilities. Admission in Class III to IX in Pakistan Cadet School and College, Murree. Admission to all classes from V to IX and XI is allowed on the basis of written examinations and interviews. Applications for admission are received on the proposed registration form attached to the prospectus, available from the College Office Sunny Bank, Murree, or Admission/Camp Office Islamabad on payment of Rs.1000/-.
Entry tests are conducted on the required academic standards of the class in which admission is taken. Then the competent authority announces the centers for the entry test (these centers are usually in all the provincial capitals of Pakistan). Medical examination is mandatory at the time of admission.
Eligibility Criteria
For admission to any class, a candidate must either be studying in that class or must have passed the last lower class at the time of admission. The age limits as on 1st April of the year of admission are as follows:-

IX 14 – 16
XI 16 – 17
Further, the physical appearance of the candidate should be as per the age mentioned in the application form.

Examination Centers
The exact date, time and venue of the examination will be intimated to the candidates in writing. This exam will be held in the following centers Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Lahore, Quetta, Peshawar, Multan and Karachi.
In case, it is not possible to conduct the entrance test and interview at any of the said centres, the candidate of that center will be asked to appear at another nearby centre. Candidates can also request for change of centers if required.
Selection is done on the basis of merit. However, the results are kept confidential. Only selected candidates will be notified by post.
Medical test
Candidate should be in good mental and physical health. They have to submit Medical Fitness Forma filled by Civil Surgeon / Medical Officer of nearest Military / Government Hospital or Registered Medical Practitioner.
Admission to Intermediate Classes
Promotion from secondary to intermediate classes is not automatic. Students appearing for the Secondary School Certificate Examination must secure at least 60% marks in the Matriculation Examination and if their overall conduct has been satisfactory.
