PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has launched ‘Insaf Rozgar Scheme’ in tribal district. The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa formally inaugurated it. Insaf Rozgar Scheme in the merged tribal district of Mohmand under which interest-free loans of up to Rs.10 lakh will be provided to local residents to help alleviate unemployment and poverty in the terror-affected areas of the newly merged tribal districts.

Eligibility Criteria:
Local residents of the newly merged districts of KPK
Valid NIC
Age – 18 to 50 years
Eligibility:
Government employees
Regular students
Already a loan holder
Professionally educated and skilled:
Loan Amount: Maximum Rs.1.0M per client as per business plan.
Skilled (Informal/ Semi-Informal) Persons:
Loan Amount: Maximum Rs.0.500 m per client as per business plan.
Women
Skilled Women: Maximum Rs 1.00M depending on the viability of the business plan.
General/Informal: Maximum Rs 0.300M depending on business viability.
others
Loan Amount: Rs.50,000/- to Rs.300,000/-
Khyber Bank Loan Scheme 2023:
In this scheme, Bank of Khyber (BoK) will provide interest-free loans to the youth of the merged tribal districts to start their own businesses. He said that 2 billion rupees will be allocated for the scheme. He said that under this scheme, the tribal youth will be paid the loans in stages. Under the employment scheme, skilled and degree unemployed persons between the age of 18 to 50 years will get interest-free loans ranging from 50 thousand to 1 million rupees. Technical people will get Rs 50,000 to Rs 0.5 million while others will get Rs 50,000 to Rs 0.3 million to start their own business.

The first phase of the scheme has started in the following stations. While the scheme will be launched in the remaining newly merged districts like Waziristan (North and South), Bajaur, FR Tank, FR Bannu, FR Lakki Marwat, and FRDI Khan in the next phase after May 15, 2022. .
