Applications are invited from eminent Pakistani/AJ citizens for the award of Ph.D. and MS and MPhil Scholarships Ph.D. Scholarships in selected fields are pan-ordered, while MS/MPhil scholarships are being offered in M.Engineering Technology. Scholarships will be awarded for the Spring-2021/Fall-2021 session to top ranked foreign universities identified by MHEC.
Eligibility:
Pakistani Nationality Holder / AJK National. For Ph.D. Scholarship, candidates should have minimum qualification of MS/MPhil/ME or equivalent (18 years) before the last date. For the MS/MPhil Scholarships in Engineering Technology, candidates must have a minimum of sixteen years of education and must be registered with the National Technology Council (NTC) Pakistan.
Candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 in semester system or 1st division in terminal degree (in annual system) for at most one 2nd division in the entire academic career before the final degree.
Maximum Age on Last Date:
- 40 years for full-time regular faculty members of public sector universities/colleges and employees of public sector R&D organizations registered with the Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST).
- 35 years for everyone else
A valid HEC Aptitude Test (HAT) should have at least 70% marks. HEC will consider the best HAT score for the last two years for shortlisting purposes. Must not avail of any other scholarship.
