Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Islamabad was established in 1967 as an attached department of the Ministry of Education to provide educational facilities in ICT at various levels. After the transfer of the Ministry of Education, the Federal Directorate of Education started functioning as an attached department of the Capital Administration and Development Division (CA&DD) in April 2011.

Summer vacations have also been announced for federal educational institutions which will be closed from July 18 to August 1. During this time, students will not go to school, but teachers will attend school as usual. Private schools in Islamabad have opened since June 7, where 50 percent attendance students are being taught. Vaccination against Corona has been made mandatory for teachers and other staff in these schools, while face masks and social distancing have also been made mandatory during school hours.

Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE Federal) is going to announce the BISE Federal Board 5th Class Result 2023 in the coming dates of April. Every year the Federal Board conducts the 5th class annual exams under the auspices of FDE (Federal Directorate of Education) in the month of February while they announce the date of these exams in the month of January.

The heads of all institutes were asked by their respective AEOs to hold off the declaration of their results till 5/4/23 while it was decided to stop all academic activities in the institutes. The revised policy regarding promotion, declaration of results, distribution of textbooks and new admissions will be released early next week.
Note further that most of the in-house examinations in FDE institutes had been completed and only 5-10% schools where 1-2 papers remained. They will be given pass marks in this paper and the results will be prepared accordingly.

Generally, the federal board declares the results of these exams after a gap of three months. This year the board announced the date sheet for class 5th annual exams one month before the start of exams as it is announced earlier and the exams are held in February. Now the board has finalized all the arrangements for the declaration of BISE Federal Board 5th Class Result 2018 and it will be declared in the first week of August. We will also display the result on the respective page immediately after its declaration.

Children who have decided to be promoted to the next classes will be promoted on the basis of the previous year’s results. Last year, children from classes 1 to 8 were not promoted without an examination. Last year 90% of the students took the exams and the children were passed based on the results.
