The country’s first electric bus service was inaugurated in Karachi, this bus will go from Malir Airport to Seaview, the fare of which is 50 rupees. First electric bus service is being launched by PPP for Karachi, this bus is eco-friendly which will not emit any pollution, it is charged by electricity and runs for 240 km on a single charge.

- The electric bus service fare will be Rs.50.
- The first batch of 50 eco-friendly electric vehicles will hit the roads of Karachi, which will be increased gradually.
- A solar system was also installed for charging the buses. Each bus will cover a distance of 240 km on a single charge.
