Eid Al-Fitr Prayer Timings in Pakistan

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced 6 holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated today in Pakistan with religious devotion and respect. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid prayer gatherings will be held in various cities including the federal capital Islamabad.

The provincial government of KP has issued orders to give holidays from Friday, April 21 to Wednesday, April 26 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The administration has issued an official statement in this regard.

President Dr. Arif Alvi will offer Eid prayers at Faisal Mosque in Islamabad while Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will celebrate Eid in Lahore. Former President Asif Ali Zardari will celebrate Eid in Nawabshah while Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will celebrate Eid with his sisters in Dubai. Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani will celebrate Eid in Quetta while Deputy Chairman Senate Mirza Afridi will celebrate Eid in Lahore.

The Sawal-ul-Mukarram Moon Sighting Committee will meet on Thursday, April 20, but the Eid moon is unlikely to be sighted that evening, so Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday. 22 April 2023, after completing 30 fasts. Eid greetings to Muslims around the world at the end of the month of Ramadan.
