Cadet College Hasan Abdal 8th Class Admissions 2023-24
Cadet College Hasan Abdal has opened admissions for 8th/O-Levels for the session 2023-24. Class VIII (GCE O-Level) 2023 (70th Entry) Entrance Test Result has been declared. The following candidates have been shortlisted for interviews and medical examination including physical fitness test.
Admissions are open for 8th/O-level for the year 2023 and Class 8/O-level for the year 2023. Please also note that we have started online applications this year. More details are available on our website www.cch.edu.pk.
Candidates are examined in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths. After qualifying the written entrance test based on merit, candidates are called for interview and medical examination at Cadet College, Hasan Abdal. May also include an interview. An assessment of Spoken English, IQ and General Knowledge and IT awareness etc.
Cadet College Hasan Abdal Class VIII Admission 2023:
Applications are invited from 1st April to 15th May through advertisement in national dailies for admission to Class XI against limited available seats in Cadet College Hasan Abdal. Only those candidates who secure 80% or more marks in Matriculation/9th Board Examinations are eligible to appear in the entrance test for admission to Class XI (Direct Entry). In view of the fact that board results are mostly delayed, candidates are allowed to sit for the entry test. However, they have to submit their results within 5 days after the declaration of their results.
Course Selection in First Year:
Pre-Engineering / Pre-Medical
Eligibility: Only those candidates who secure 80% marks (Grade AI) or more in the Board Matriculation Examination (or its equivalent) are eligible to appear in the written examination. If the board result is not declared by that time then the result card of class 9 and one HOPE certificate (original) from the Head of Institution for securing more than 80% marks in matric final can be attached.
A Level Admission for 2023
The entry point in this college is O-Level class only, however, there are few vacancies in class A-level. These vacancies are filled based on their O Level results. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of seats available, an entrance test will be conducted (test dates will be announced later if required).

Choice of Courses at A Level:
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, General Paper, and Urdu
Written Test:
The written test is held at Cadet College Hasan Abdal. There is no other exam center in any city for this entrance exam. It consists of the following three papers (four subjects) based on the matric syllabus:
1. English
2. Mathematics or Biology
3. Chemistry and Physics (Combined Paper)
Interview and Medical Examination:
Candidates who qualify the written test are interviewed after the declaration of results. A medical examination is also conducted on the same day of the interview.
Entry Form:
The college prospectus contains the application form and detailed information about the institution. It can be obtained from the College Admission Office on payment of Rs.800/- in cash or through domestic post of Rs.1058/- through Habib Bank Limited. Challan Form for Prospectus
1500/- by post outside the country through Bank Draft drawn on Habib Bank Hasan Abdal in favor of Principal, Cadet College, Hasan Abdal. Checks will not be accepted. For prospectus by post, the candidate should send his/her name, father’s name, telephone/mobile number, postal address, and the class for which admission is sought, along with a copy of the challan form submitted to Habib Bank Limited. .
To save time, the easiest way to complete the form submission and prospectus collection process is to download the admission form (including address slips and challan form) from the college website during the given dates.
The downloaded form has to be submitted along with a fee of Rs. 2558/- (including registration fee and cost of prospectus) through Habib Bank Challan Form (available with downloaded admission form) and deposit at any branch of Habib Bank Limited. (Pakistani rupees for overseas residents in the form of bank draft in favor of Principal, Cadet College Hasan Abdal). Application form complete in all respects and copy of challan form (collected) should be sent to the following address: Principal Cadet College Hasan Abdal. A prospectus will be sent to the postal address given in the form.
Final Selection for Class XI Admission (Direct Admission) is done mainly on the basis of marks. Saved by the candidate in the interview (Subject for medical fitness).
