Lahore: The three-day celebrations of the 554th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, will begin from November 6 at Nankana Sahib, for which the railway authorities have decided to run three trains for Indian pilgrims from Wagah station.

The three-day celebrations of the 554 birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism, will begin from November 25 at Nankana Sahib, in which 3,000 pilgrims from India and from other countries including Canada and England will participate.
After the conclusion of the main ceremony, the Sikh pilgrims will also visit Sacha Sauda Aminabad, Hasan Abdal and Kartapur, while on November 26, the Sikh pilgrims will return to Lahore Gurdwara Derad Sahib, where after performing their religious rituals, they will return to India via the Wagah border.
For the convenience of Sikh pilgrims coming from India, it has been decided to run a rack of coaches consisting of 3 trains from Wagah railway station, while Indian Sikh pilgrims will enter Pakistan on foot through Wagah border and after completing their immigration, Baba To participate in Guru Nanak’s birthday celebrations, a direct train will be taken from Wagah Railway Station to Nankana Sahib Railway Station.
